A Very Merry Christmas

Christmas morning arrived, finally!! The boys had to wait at the top of the stairs while Tom checked the living room to see if Santa came during the night or not... and also to get his video camera ready.
                                                                            Still waiting...
                                                          Somebody is getting impatient!
                                                                   Santa DID come!
Dylan opened presents by tearing off one teeny tiny shred of paper at a time. Tom and I tried to show him how to rip into it, but it still took him forever to get one unwrapped. After he'd opened 4 of them, he was done. He wanted to sit on the floor and play with what he'd gotten and wasn't interested in any of the remaining unwrapped gifts. Finally, Evan opened all of Dylan's gifts after he'd finished opening his own. When he got to the 'big gift,' a Spider Man building with a magnetized Spidey who can acutally 'climb' the walls, Dylan finally paid attention.

After the boys opened their gifts, we had our breakfast/brunch feast of cinnamon rolls, scrambled eggs and "fakon" (fake bacon, i.e. vegetarian) It was around 10:30 before Tom and I got to open any of our gifts, but it was kind of nice to spread it out like that.

Dylan actually let Evan play with the Spidey building with him for a little while, before screeching "MINE!"

Fergus didn't like the cat treats I got him for Christmas (his only present) so he was out of luck. Poor kitty.

                                                                        Aaarrrggghhh!!

 Just chillin' out post present-fest.
