We took Dylan up to his grandparents' house in Waynesboro, Pennsylvani for a family birthday party last Saturday. He had picked out a really cute 'horsey cake' at Target that had plastic horses and a fence on the top of it and the cake was decorated to look like a pasture with a pond in it. However, when I went back to Target to place the order, they did not have the horse kit so I ended up going with "Nemo" instead. It turned out to be a really cute cake, though.
Dylan's "Grammie" had been planning on the horse theme before hearing about the cake switcharoo so she'd gotten Dylan two stuffed horses as gifts and used them as decorations for the special 'birthday boy chair." It was really cute and he saw them as soon as he walked in the dining room and immediately snatched them off the chair and carried them around during the rest of the party.
