Window Seat

 

 When we first moved into our house in 2003, we installed a kitty perch on the window sill in our bedroom so our cat Willie could watch the "Birdie Show" outside.  Willie, Crosby and now Fergie and Dougal have all logged in a lot of hours of bird watching from that perch. However, Dougal (all 16 pounds of him) jumped up on it recently and the whole thing came crashing down to the floor. The mechanism that attached it to the wall and the window sill broke in the process of this crash so I ended up trashing it. Now the boys have to crowd onto a small vanity stool in order to take in the view.

                                    I love the way Dougal is flopped right on top of Fergie's tail!

The End of Kindergarten!

It's hard to believe that Evan's year of Kindergarten has come and gone, but his last day was June 13th! On Tuesday June 10th, his class had an End-Of-Year Party with outside playtime which Tom and I both attended.

  Off to Kindergarten for the last time!! On September 2nd, 2014, he'll be my big First Grader!!

Mr. & Mrs. Bunny

 Apparently, the Easter Bunny has a wife and the two of them showed up at our daycare center to pose with the kiddos. Dylan wanted to wear his "handsome shirt" for the pictures but we didn't even realize that Evan was going to be photographed that day. He had his first field trip to a bouncy place and I figured he'd miss out on the visiting bunnies...but apparently, that was not the case. Oh well, he still looks cute in his Minion shirt.
