Window Seat

 

 When we first moved into our house in 2003, we installed a kitty perch on the window sill in our bedroom so our cat Willie could watch the "Birdie Show" outside.  Willie, Crosby and now Fergie and Dougal have all logged in a lot of hours of bird watching from that perch. However, Dougal (all 16 pounds of him) jumped up on it recently and the whole thing came crashing down to the floor. The mechanism that attached it to the wall and the window sill broke in the process of this crash so I ended up trashing it. Now the boys have to crowd onto a small vanity stool in order to take in the view.

                                    I love the way Dougal is flopped right on top of Fergie's tail!
